Day 39

3 mile run this morning. It was really nice despite being cloudy. Actually, perhaps because it was cloudy... Something to ponder, anyway. =) I'll be swimming 750 yard later. I'm getting a tan! Shocking as it may seem, it's true. It must be from being outside pretty much every day for some reason or another. =)

Day 38

15 mile bike ride. Finished it in 66min. Woo hoo! =) I'm sure I could have done better but I had 2 kittens milling around making me nervous. =)

Day 37

Had a very nice run this morning, 4 miles. =) Went to swim and got in 17 of 30 laps before they emptied it for a 'fouling'. Bah! Gross and sad at the same time, really. I also walked the 3.5 miles round trip to the pool, so that was a good thing.

Food: yogurt and cereal, pineapple, raisins, chips, brown rice, turkey and mushrooms

Day 36

Day off. =) I pretty much spent it just hanging out with John. Which was nice since I sometimes feel like I don't get to see him enough.

Food: watermelon, chicken and mushroom pizza, low fat ice cream with chocolate sauce

Day 35

I think I'll be able to do the 10 mile bike ride I have planned for tonight. I'll do it on the exercise bike in case my knee stiffens up. It's a lot easier to hobble to the couch than to be stuck 5 miles from home and have to hobble that far. ;) Beautiful weather outside, though. I think we're having a couple of friends over for a barbecue. We are just total social butterflies this weekend, I swear.

I had a dream that I was wearing my cute pink skirt with a chunky chocolate brown sweater and brown ribbed tights with my brown suede shoes, so I think I'll work towards that image. Use it as motivation. =)

Food: 3 potato chips, yogurt and cereal, juice, chicken, fun dip, pork loin, roasted potatoes, angel food cake with strawberries and light custard

Day 34

Well, was supposed to be a 5 mile run but I think I hurt my knee biking yesterday. It's sore and stiff. I think I'll let it heal up a bit before I head out for a long-ish run again. Maybe Monday? Anyway, went out for lunch and had a really good time. Yay! =) Not the best food day but I was near the best candy store evah! I'm not made of stone, man!

Day 33

I did my long ride today instead of Sunday. I'll do the 10 mile ride on Sunday. I was supposed to do 15 miles today but I did more like 18-20. It was nice, actually. Even though stupid Tommy Thompson Park is, apparently, closed to the public during the week. Which is NOT noted in my bike trails of Toronto book. Grr! So I just kept going west along the waterfront trail. Worked out fine. But there were SO many bugs! I even managed to make it all the way up the hill on my way home without stopping. Which is huge for me because that hill is a pain in the rear!

Ahhhhh. The lower humidity was so nice! 4 mile run this morning. I'll swim 500 yards later. =) Update: finished swimming and it was a good thing. =)

Day 31

Very hot but the weather should break a bit with the storm. I'm really hoping that the humidex is low enough for me to run in the morning. I did the 10 mile bike ride and it was good. =)

Day 30

Well, the humidex was already 40C when I woke up, so I'm switching the run to tomorrow and biking and swimming today. It's brutally hot today, supposed to hit 48C humidex. *cower* Update: Ha! I didn't end up doing anything. I had no energy and a wicked headache. And the cleaning lady was over in the evening, driving me into hiding. Excuses, excuses, I know. =(

Food: licorice, nuts, trail mix, turkey and havarti sandwich, pretzels

Day 29

Rest day. Too hot to do much, but I made peach crisp from scratch and did housework and stuff like that. Whee.

Food: yogurt and cereal, cherries, chicken, spinach and mushroom quesadilla, candy, peach crisp with low fat vanilla ice cream
